Active since fall 2011, the Education Across Boarders Collective brings together migrants and allies- parents, students, teachers, researchers, militants- who are concerned about the lack of access to public education because of immigration status.

The Collective is part of Solidarity Across Boarders (SAB), a migrant justice network that is active since 2003. SAB organizes for the regularization of undocumented migrants, the end to detentions, deportations and double punishment.  The Collective is also part of the “Solidarity City” Campaign that strives to make Montreal, or any city, a city where everyone regardless of their immigration status be able to access essential services such as free health care, education, social housing, food banks and services for victims of violence.
